Hello,  I have been reading many books on spirit and healing because as I am told something got into my system and the end result was damage to my myelin in the thorasic area, leaving it thin in two places. I know that myelin is capable of healing/ repairing itself. And, I have not had any more problems such as I did when this first happened. I now have to use a wheelchair because the message does not get to my legs because of the thin myelin. I know that I am capable of healing myself, I just know it to be true. I have found it is not wise to read too many books on the subject because of the different views and opinons and techniques. I have done my homework as to say, forgiveness, no anger, or bitterness and do have the love of my husband and children. I meditate, placing my focus on healing my myelin, but I wanted to ask f or your wisdom on healing and give me your direction. I would love to hear what you have to say to me. One night I was praying so hard , asking God to heal me so I could walk again, a voice spoke in my right ear and said, “you will walk again”. I opened my eyes excepting to see someone in our bedroom. That was nearly 6 years ago and I wonder if there is something about me, my thoughts that gets in the way.

Shirley, I am very limited in knowledge of medical procedure, however I do work with those healers in the spirit realm.

As I read your letter, what is communicated to me, is that you are being offered an opportunity to develop your spiritual self, to extraordinary high levels, or not. The choice is yours.

If we choose to use the pain and suffering that we are given, in a positive way,  it is the most powerful gift at our disposal to be of service and benefit to others.  By uniting our suffering, in union with the like of Christs’ suffering on the cross, you can direct the powerful healing energy to whomever and wherever you wish.

By utilizing this new power, at your disposal, wisely, you will be of profound benefit to others, and in so doing you will facilitate your own healing.

Hello James, Firstly thanks for having a forum to be able to ask questions. To make a rather long story shorter I’ll condense this as much as I can. I have a strong desire to have dowsing (in all it’s applications, water, healing, locating etc.) as a vocation even part time. What I can’t understand is why I have no desire to learn or even the incentive to practice. I did it a few years ago and it seems I have something, talent? I don’t know what to call it. A strong ?? You’ll have to forgive me I know it sounds muddled. I find it extremely fascinating and I can’t think of anything I’d rather do but it feels like the only thing that will light a fire is literally sitting on the wood stove! I’ve been very tired for quite awhile now and I want to rejoin the world again. I don’t know if it will help but on the off chance one of my totems is Wood Duck Any suggestions?

I don’t feel qualified to deal with your interesting comments about dousing  etc  etc.   I do hope that you find answers to lifes riddles,  I too am a seeker of  truth and reality…  We should always strive to complete any undertaking that we begin.

Hi Lorna,

I am sorry to hear that you are having health challenges and I wish I could be more help but I’m afraid numerology can only give us so much and the rest is up to us and the medicine ways we trust; in my experience, it is the medicine you trust that can do you the most good.

I can tell you that 2010 is a #4 year for you and that is all about physical structure, so you do need to be more careful to follow the common rules of good health at this time: fresh air, laughter, exercise and good clean food.  Best of luck to you!

This is a very interesting question Crystal.  I took a while to think this through before answering. Cities like people go through nine year cycles of change, so I answered this question for three cities on the Island with that in mind:

Nanaimo: 2010 is her Personal Year # 7; a  year when it would be wise to step back and take stock of the direction it is going. It is a time to reflect on past errors in judgment and learn from these lessons. Take heart, Nanaimoites, if done well, we will be in a good position to take advantage of the #8, which is coming in 2011: the energy of independence (action vs. reaction) coupled with a growing understanding of who we are and want to be in the years ahead.

Victoria: This city is in a # 1 cycle which is highly energetic and brimming with the potential of great success!  New ideas and plans are meant to be put into action this year. It will be interesting to see what they do with it!

Courtenay: 2010 for this growing city is in its # 8 Personal Year, so it will be interesting to observe how they handle it. So again, independence, a clearer sense of their uniqueness as a city and what it has to offer that makes it attractive to outsiders and the people who call it home.

Hi Sheila,

You are most certainly right in that this is an important year for you; it is a Personal Year # 7.  Once every nine years this makes its way into our lives bringing a time of quiet reflection and inner growth that strengthens us and sets our feet on the right course for the upcoming two years.  It is the time when we re-set our sails, so to speak and get right with Spirit. Take time to go within, heal your un-healed woundedness and emerge from the ‘cave’ refreshed and certain of your path. Your birth number is a 22 and you have much important work ahead of you; important to do the work of each step.

I enjoy your articles very much. especially your last one on the bear. I connect with my power animals regularly in dream-time and waking in the wild. I’m interested in learning the practices of west coast aboriginal shamanism. however, it’s obviously not called shamanism by the coastal tribes. so asking this at a band office leads to confusion. what is your suggestion on how i can find a teacher to teach me the ways of the west coast tribal people?

Due to the fact that our coast native culture, has been totally devastated over the last  two hundred years, and also that shamanistic secrets are closely guarded and passed by word of mouth, they have been mostly lost. The volumes of written information that I am aware of is misinformation to mislead a transgressor, consequetnly the limited authentic information that I have comes from one properly trained individual who learned in the old way from his grandmother. I have learned also from ancestors and ancients, on the other side of the veil.
I do a ceremony that can permit your power animal to make visual contact with you, this can be done in a group or individually.

So many of us are lost today, trying to find our way back to the Creator to make love, peace and harmony real on Earth. We need the wisdom of the Elders, more than ever now, to help us purify and ‘remember’ ourselves as One Great Big Family. How can we get the First Nations people to trust us the ones who remember the Creator too. What about the ones who don’t? Who will help them? How can we come together now to help heal each other? I feel shy to approach my First Nations brothers and sisters, but we all share the same karma now, in one way or another. We all need forgiveness and healing and we need to be able to give it to others, in return. I would like to purify myself, but is this something I can do on my own, without guidance? How can I help others to do the same, if I don’t know what I’m doing?

Ask the universe for direction, regarding your own path and spiritual development. Then be aware, watch and listen for answers, often they come so softly, like a breeze in the trees, or the tide on the shore. So unless we are tuned in to the delicate music, we do not hear the lyrics or understand the message. Always remember that you are a very special individual, learn from others, but walk your own path.

Seeking authentic coastal native shamanistic information is like tryingto catch a hand full of smoke.  I have had the good fortune to meet and be trained  by one person whom I  believe is a shaman, properly trained by his grandmother, who had little contact and influence from other cultures. His ability in using the cosmic evergy of the universe is absolutley amazing, and beyond my comprehension, because he learned the in the old way, as a child from his granny, with no written word. These  secrets are closely guarded and passed on by word  of mouth, so are doomed to be lost forever. My limited knowledge comes from researching, discarding and tuning in to the ancestors and ancients in the spirit realm. Any of this information I am happy to share. I too, am a student on a learning quest. My mission is to strive to heal the body, mind and soul, of the 2 legged, 4 legged, the winged ones, the swimmers and this wobbly little planet that we share, I do what I can, with love as a motivator.
