Be sure to submit your numerology questions to Shannon.

Call them what you like, birth date numbers,  destiny  numbers or life path numbers, these can hold the key to opening information that will give you  insight to your life  and perhaps help you take a new direction on the journey. My ruling number is 8…and I’ve  always loved that  number.

Have a look at the title of our magazine, notice how I managed to integrate my  number in the title?

Speaking about the title of our magazine, True Blue Spirit, someone asked me recently to explain the blue part of the title. Blue opens the flow of communication and slows down the human metabolism to produce a calming effect. That fits in perfectly with our magazine, True – authentic, genuine, sincere, Blue – opens communication, calming, Spirit – principle of conscious life, supernatural, soul, consciousness. This really sums up what our magazine is presenting to our readers in their Pursuit of Intuitive Living!

Keep checking the website, we have more special links coming soon.

Keep well.

Question #1    – “What is my number and how do I figure it out?”

Answer ~ “The adding up of the numbers in your birthdates is pretty straightforward and here are some easy methods of how you can go about it. First convert the month to its proper number – Aug = 8, Sept = 9 May = 5 etc., and then proceed as follows:

Example: February 5 1947

Method one – add vertically:

Month =       2

Day =       5

Year = 1947

Total: = 1954

Then, add:

1

9

5

4

Total:   19

Then add 1+9 and get 10, next add 1+0 and arrive at 1.  The Life Path or Ruling number is a 1 for this birthdate.

Method two – add horizontally: (Feb = 2) – 2+5+1+9+4+7= 28.  Then add the 2 and 8 together and get 10 – Then add 1+0 and of course we end up with a number 1! *” I prefer this method as it is faster for me or perhaps I am just used to it.

All birthdate numbers that add up to 19, 28, 37, 46 etc reduce to the number ‘1’

Question # 2. “Am I a two or an eleven?”

Two

Answer ~ if your total adds up to exactly 20 then your Life Path number is a two.

Example one: November 30 1941 – (Nov =11) – 1+1+ 3 +0+1+9+4+1 = 20;

Example two: Feb. 20 1942 – (Feb = 2) – 2+2+0+1+9+4+2 = 20.

Eleven

If your numbers add up to 11, 29, 38, 47 38 etc., your number is the Master Number 11.

Example one: Nov.12, 2004 – (Nov = 11) 1+1+1+2+2+0+0+4 = 11

Example two: January 28 1998 – (Jan = 1) 1+2+8+1+9+9+8 = 38; 3+8 = 11

Question # 3. “Am I a 22 or a 4?”

Four

Answer ~ if your total adds up to 13, 31, 40, 49 etc., your number is a four as these numbers all reduce to the number four.

Example one: April 4 1967 – (April = 4) 4+4+1+9+6+7= 31; 3+1 = 4

Twenty two

If you are the Master Number 22, your numbers will total 22 exactly!

Example one: November 2, 1971 – (Nov = 2-1+1); 1+1+2+1+9+7+1 = 22

Example two: January 20, 1954 – (Jan = 1) 1+2+1+9+5+4= 22

Question # 4. “Why do you call the birth date numbers Ruling Numbers, or Life Path numbers and not Destiny Numbers or another name like some authors?”

Answer ~ “There are many different names for the same set of numbers and this can be very confusing!  The truth is many authors like to come up with their own names for the various combinations of numbers that are possible to work with. I have been predominantly writing about the birth date numbers in the True Blue Spirit magazine and I call them Ruling numbers and also refer to them as Life Path numbers so readers who are familiar with numerological terms can more easily identify with what I am writing about.

The more you read and study the more you will find that the terms I am using are the most widely used by authors in general. There are dozens of books about numerology and the reader has to go with the flow of terminology the author is presenting in order to understand his or her point of view.  Each author presents their point of view based on their own training as well as their own experiences with clients, friends and family.  The most important thing is to understand how these numbers influence our lives and how this awareness can help us grow to be better developed, happier and spiritually aware people.
