TERMS AND CONDITIONS
July 2010 – True Blue Spirit Retreat
I Deposits and Retreat Fees Payments
a) Payments may be made by cash, cheque, Visa or Mastercard.
b) Where a deposit has been paid by credit card, the additional deposit and balance due will be debited to that same credit card as per the dates noted in numbers two and three above; without further reference to the cardholder, provided the card is still valid.
c) Fees include room (allocated at the discretion of True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc.), meals (as outlined in course schedule) and courses/lectures.
d) Taxes will be charged where appropriate at the current rate.
II Cancellation
a) In the event of cancellation (other than by True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc.) of any booking, True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. will make the following cancellation charges:

b) True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking without explanation and to refund any deposit or other payment made.
c) Retreats with less than 25 participants may be cancelled.
III Dietary Arrangements
a) The retreat fees include the provision of standard or vegetarian meals only; in accordance with the scheduled daily menu (a-la-carte meals are not provided). Please check with The Haven management if advice is required.
b) Any occasional variation from the scheduled daily menu may be provided upon request, at the discretion of The Haven catering staff and subject to availability of any suitable alternative; this will carry a surcharge of $25.
IV Smoking
Smoking is only permitted on the grounds at specified locations.
V Disclaimers
a) True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for visitors' money, clothing, documents, valuables or other items or belongings. Cars parked in the parking lot are at the owner's own risk.
b) Subject to errors and omissions, the Facilitators listed are correct at the time of printing. However, these may be subject to change if necessary without notice, for which True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. cannot be held responsible or liable.
c) The opinions expressed by individual Facilitators, etc. at the retreat are not necessarily representative of True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. policy, or of views held by the True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. itself.
d) Certificates issued by outside bodies are not recognised by True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc.
VI Private Sittings
Please note that if you are dissatisfied with your sitting you must tell the Facilitator so at the time. The Facilitator will then escort you to the Retreat Organiser for a refund. Later complaints cannot be accepted.
VII Other Terms, Conditions and Notices
a) Unless otherwise specified, rooms become available from 3pm on the day of arrival (July 15th, 2010), although the retreat will not commence until 5:00pm or after evening dinner on that day. Accordingly, unless otherwise specified, participants are advised to try to arrange their arrival at The Haven after 3pm on the first day of the retreat.
Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure irrespective of the Course finishing time, and The Haven by 1:00 pm or shortly after termination of the retreat if later.
b) Breakfast (which is usually buffet-style) is normally served between 8am - 9am. Lunch (which is usually buffet-style) is normally served between noon - 1pm. Dinner (which is usually buffet-style) is normally between 6pm – 7pm. The Haven reserves the right to change meal-times from time to time without being held responsible or liable. Save by prior arrangement (and the discretion of The Haven) meals cannot be provided outside The Haven's normal mealtimes.
c) No private sittings, circles, séances, demonstrations, groups, workshops, talks, lectures, healing, complementary therapies or similar activities are allowed to take place within the retreat or its precincts unless under the direct control and supervision of one or more of the Facilitators working on the Retreat.
d) No cameras or other filming video, audio recording equipment are to be used in the Retreat or its precincts, without prior permission in writing from the Retreat Organiser. The content of all audio and visual recordings remains the copyright of the True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. and may not be used for public or commercial purposes. Any public use, whether or not for gain, will constitute a breach of the Copyright Laws.
e) No person is allowed to promote, advertise, offer or sell goods or services in the Retreat or its precincts.
f) We regret the visitors' pets cannot be permitted.
g) We regret that caravans and tents used for sleeping purposes cannot be permitted in The Haven grounds.
h) The Retreat Organiser has the right to refuse admission to the Retreat or any part of it, at any time, or to require any person to leave any part of the Retreat or The Haven grounds, at any time, without having to give a reason why.
VIII Customer Service Guarantee
Providing a high level of customer service satisfaction is the main ethos at True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. and we endeavour to provide a quality service to all our clients. However, we do recognise that from time to time issues can arise which may leave you feeling dissatisfied with the level of service you have received. Under these circumstances, we ask that you put your complaint in writing and send it to True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc, PO Box 17, Gabriola Island, BC V0R 1X0. Please be assured that any concerns will be treated with due consideration and confidentiality as swiftly as possible.
IX Young Persons
Young Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted on any Retreat unless the Retreat has been specifically designed or it is considered suitable for them.
X Accreditation
True Blue Spirit Magazine Inc. does not provide any form of Accreditation in respect of participants attending any of its Retreats.
