This was very interesting. Have you heard of anyone else that may have seen this? If it lit up the sky you would think other people saw it too. Do you know what time this happened? It will be interesting to see if this happens again in the same area.

It was seen in Victoria at the same time.
if it lit up the sky and was seen chemanius to victoria, why is there only one poor video ? why no tv, newspaper or public outcry ?
i would love to believe we had a ufo but, sadly, i don’t believe this story nor the poor quality video.
still it was fun to watch and ponder…
This is definately unidentified, but it also looks like a 3-D holographic image, similiar to a projection on a screen. Similiar to a lighted microscope; like someone moving a human hair around on a clear plate.
I don’t trust this.
I expect more of these odd “sightings” as the US ramps up their psy-wars…..
I saw a rectangular reddish orange light at about 75 degrees over Nanaimo one evening last August. It hovered for about three minutes as I was parked on the side of the road watching, then a black disk came out of it, the light blinked out and the disc shot off and disappeared towards the south. I got an interview in the paper trying to find other witnesses .. Your sighting is incredible!
Flare? I dont think so, and why would a plane be dispatched to check it out if it was?
How beautiful! I hope these sightings become so commonplace that our fear of the unknown turns into a rampant curiosity that needs to know more. Then maybe they’ll actually stop to say hi!
My parents also took an amazing video of this object. They live in Duncan, where their neighbours all gathered together to watch it from their yard. They really observed this and I’ve seen the footage. Their video is even better.

This is very real! I watched the other video of someone in Vancouver Island that recorded the same thing. This video is not a poor video, it’s plain and clear. Best foot-age I have seen! People need to do there research about it. I believe that they live in our earth these specific kinds. Coming from our lava in volcanoes. I believe there here to help us. When you study what the bible says and the egyptian scriptures it all adds up. I would tell you guys everything I know but you would probably think I’m crazy where the public is blind of what they see. But do not trust the government.

I certainly would not dismiss this Video as being a Holographic Image. Very likely to be a Genuine UFO.

The clipped shape on the top of the object is extremely like a UFO that I snapped close to a Eurofighter at a local air show.
